Ronny Zaman is the son of politician and businessman Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu, who founded a private bank. Despite both men going on to enjoy extraordinarily successful careers as business leaders, Ronny Zaman’s early beginnings were relatively modest. Born in a small town, Mr Zaman’s family instilled in him the importance of perseverance and hard work, encouraging him to apply himself to his academic studies. Though his resources may have been limited in early childhood, Ronny Zaman’s dreams were boundless.
Education and Early Career
Enrolling at Palm Beach Atlantic College in Florida, USA, Ronny Zaman studied business administration, creating a firm foundation for his future entrepreneurial success. Simultaneously with his college studies, Mr Zaman dabbled with several start-up ventures, learning some very valuable lessons in these early days. His first major breakthrough came with a tech start-up that quickly began to gain momentum.
Like most entrepreneurs, Mr Zaman experienced numerous challenges and setbacks in his formative years in business. Rather than dampening his enthusiasm, however, these struggles taught him valuable lessons about entrepreneurship. Over the years, Ronny Zaman has diversified his business interests considerably, venturing into various new industries. Today, his global business empire spans an array of sectors, serving as a testament to his unwavering drive and astute strategic vision. In addition to leading the private bank established by his father, Ronny Zaman also serves as chairman of three prominent companies: Navana Pharmaceuticals Plc, Anowara Construction Ltd and Gas One.
